ABOUT THE LEARNING TO SWIM PROGRAMME:

Aberdeen Dolphin Swimming club has a learn to swim section which teaches swimming to children from age four upwards. The learn to swim section follows a progressive syllabus which covers all four swimming strokes and aqua and diving skills.

There are seven levels of teaching class and once Teaching7 is completed children aged ten and under will be offered the chance to join Dolphin Aqua4 and become full members of Aberdeen Dolphin Swimming Club.

Children who are too old for Aqua 4 and those who do not wish to progress to competitive swimming may choose to join the club’s Associates section upon completion of LTS.

WHERE

Tullos Pool, Girdleness Road, Aberdeen
Splash 4 and Teaching 1-4 are in the small teaching pool  which is a safe, friendly environment for young children.  From Teaching 5 the lessons take place in the large pool.

WHEN

Saturdays from 1.30pm – 6.00pm during school term.

CLASSES

Splash 4 (age 4-5 years)
Beginners from ages 5-7 years Improvers up to age 10 years.

COSTS

Swimmers pay SASA annual membership and lessons run in blocks concurrent with the school term. Fees are payable at the start of each block and the charge per lesson is as follows:

Splash 4 (1/2 hour lesson) Teaching 1 and 2 (1/2 hour lesson) Teaching 3- 7 (45 minute lesson)
