The
coaches within the main club structure are all ASA qualified. The
majority of the poolside helpers are also qualified to ASA Assistant Teacher
level. Interested parents are encouraged to help on the poolside and to gain a
formal qualification.

The teachers and coaches attend seminars and help with other training programmes in order to update their knowledge and to broaden their perspective in swimming by working with more experienced coaches.
The
teaching section of the Club follows the SASA and the Aqua Aberdeen teaching
schemes and the junior coaching section is under the guidance of the COAST head
coach.
